ABOUT US

The United Bassa Organizations in the Americas (UNIBOA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization of Liberians from the Bassa counties comprising the political sub-divisions of Grand Bassa, Margibi, Rivercess and Montserrado counties, engaged in social, humanitarian and community development programs.

As a free association of Liberian citizens, we recognize the need to be active participants in the development of our homeland and maintain our cultural ties with our people. We are deeply conscious of the need for unity in order to identify resources, promote long and short term development programs and set forth the interests we hold in common. Therefore, UNIBOA, through advocacy, public education and networking speaks the African experience and identifies resources to rebuild the Bassa counties.

Our objectives

To promote peace, unity, progress and social awareness among Liberians in the Americas;

To maintain and retain cultural and our traditional heritage and values;

To assist with specific development projects through finance and manpower;

To help improve the quality of education, healthcare and community development;

To serve as forum for exchange of views among the people of the Bassa counties residing in the Americas;

To seek the social welfare and well being of all members in the Americas.
