19TH NATIONAL CONVENTION

It is through our National Conventions that we are able to raise enough funds for most of our projects and programs. The main fundraising events during the National Conventions are the Queen Contest, Annual Raffle Drawing, Annual Banquet & Ball.

This year the Pennsylvania Chapter, under the leadership of Mr. Benedict Roberts, will host the 19th National Convention. The Convention will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 22-25, 2009.

We invite you to join us to recommit ourselves to UNIBOA and our people in our homeland, Liberia. We solicit your active participation by joining us in Philadelphia to raise needed fund by which we can meet some of our goals. Please help us to help our people in Liberia.

    The host chapter has made block reservation for hotel rooms with double occupancy (standard room with 2 queen size beds each) at reasonable rate: $89.99 per day (with breakfast served) at the following hotel:

  • HOTEL RESERVATION CUT-OFF DATE:
    The room block will be held until May 10, 2009 at which time the Hotel will release the unused portion of the guest room block. Additional reservations will be accepted based on room aviability only, and the discounted group rate will not apply after this date.
