18TH NATIONAL CONVENTION It is through our National Conventions that we are able to raise enough funds for most of our projects and programs. The main fundraising events during the conventions are the Queen Contest, Annual Raffle Drawing, and Banquet. In 2008 the Minnesota Chapter of UNIBOA, under the leadership of Mr. Solomon Reeves, will host the 18th National Convention. Check-out Time: 11: AM CUT-OFF DATE:  The room block will be held until May 9, 2008 at which time the Hotel will release the unused portion of the guest room block. Additional reservations will be accepted based on room aviability only, and the discounted group rate will not apply after this date. GUARANTEED ROOMS:  All hotel room reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card by either the Guest who is making the reservation or the Patron. No show reservations for individual rooms shall be charged either to the Guest who is making the reservation and/or the Patron at 4:00 PM on the day of the arrival unless the reservation has been cancelled twenty four hours prior to 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL CHAPTER HEADS The Convention Committee appeals to all Chapter Heads to submit the names of all delegates who will be attending the National Convention in Minnesota from their chapters immediately as to expedite the printing of delegates’ buttons.
