President of ULAA commends five Liberian organizations in Americas
The National President of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA), Mr. Arthur K. Watson, has sent out messages of salutations to five major national county associations on the occasion of the hosting of their respective conventions over the Memorial Day weekend.
The national county associations lauded by the ULAA Boss are the United Bassa Organization in the Americas (UNIBOA), the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas (GGAA), the Federation of Lofa Associations in the Americas (FLAA), the United Nimba Citizens Council (UNICCO), and the United Bong Associations, Inc (UBA).
In separate letters to the national leaders, Mr. Watson hailed the organizations for their continuous support and cooperation with the Union. He assured them that ULAA values their kinship and contributions as Liberians embark upon the rebuilding of their country and work towards the reconciliation of all the Liberian people. President Watson expressed ULAA’s hope that “the fine relationship will continue and be strengthened in the years to come.”
The separate presidential messages from the ULAA Chief Executive were sent to UNIBOA President Joseph Sinyan, GGAA President David Gbortoe, UNICCO President Miamen Z.Z. Wopea, FLAA National Chairman Francis Zazay, and UBA President Dennis Garsinii.
The five national county Associations hold their respective conventions over the Memorial Day week-end, running from May 26 – 28, 2006. UNIBOA will convene its convention in the City of Arlington, Texas. The GGAA will be meeting in the City of Ham Lake in Minnesota. UNICCO’s 2006 convention is being held in the City of Atlanta, Georgia. FLAA members converge on Newark, New Jersey, for their 2006 convention while the UBA members assemble in Columbus, Ohio, for their convention.
